Family
John de la Bere Born ± 1300 Died 1366, approximately 66 years Married 1) to: Agnes Turberville Daughter of Payne de Turberville and Gwenllian Talbot. Born ± 1318 Coity, Glamorgan, Wales Died Dec 1360 Cornwall, England, approximately 42 years Child: 1. Sibyl de la Bere 2)Born 19 May 1338 Weobley, Herefordshire, England Died before Nov 1381, at most 43 years 2) Notes: Identifying Sibyl's ancestry with any certainty is fraught with difficulty. Visitations show multiple conflicting pedigrees for the "de la Bere" family and interpreting primary evidence is made difficult by the existence of multiple prominent individuals with the same name in the same generation. It's not even certain that Thomas's wife was a de la Bere: no primary evidence supporting such a marriage has been identified. |
