Notes: John and Martha, being the parents of Jeffery Filmer, is supposedly confirmed by the court rolls for the manor of Kingsnorth, in Boughton Malherbe. The records supposedly shows Jeffery Filmer inheriting land from his father, John, who had acquired the land in Boughton Malherbe by 1640 at the latest. Jeffery Filmer also inherits lands from his uncle, Jeffery Filmer. The court roll has not, however, been reviewed to confirm this.

Notes: "He inherited a messuage, a granary and six pariahs of land held of the Manor of Kingsnorth (in the parish of Boughton Malherbe) from his father, John, on his death in about 1662. This was evidenced by a series of entries in the Manor Court Roll. Jeffery acquired a further six rods of brushing, between Grafty Green and Broadstone in the parish of Boughton Malherbe, held of the manor of Kingsnorth in 1705. Jefferie, was admitted as 'heir' to the messuage, granary and six pariahs of land John, his father, held of the Manor of Kingsnorth at his death, paying 7 1/2d.
