Lawrence's parents are identified as Robert Greyndour and Margaret Joce, daughter of John Joce, by the Gloucestershire visitation. Whle that would provide a nice explanation for how the manor of Clearwell came into the Greyndour family, no independent primary evidence has been found to corroborate the visitation, hence that ancestry has not been included here.
