Married/ Related to: ‎ Rurik of Kiev, Prince of the Varangians‏‎ ¹⁾ Died ‎± 879 ¹⁾ Notes: Rurik is first mentioned in the Primary Chronicle around the year 862 where he is ruling from Novgorod with his two younger brothers, as a selected Prince of the Varangians.
