Batey, son of the William Batey Thomas Heron was a nephew of the said testator Robert Scott married a niece of the said Thomas "Thomas Heron Hunter, one of the legatees named in Thomas Heron's will married a niece of the testator who is another of the therein named." Thomas Heron Hunter's wife was named Mary Baty. Therefore if Mary Baty is to be a niece of the testator (Thomas Heron), then Mary must be a daughter of a Baty and a Heron. And the Heron must be a sister to Thomas Heron. This must mean that Mary, wife of William Baty (identified in the litigation as a sister to Thomas Heron), is mother of Mary Baty, and William Baty is her father. "That Mary Hunter a legatee named in the will of said Thos Heron is daughter to the said William Batey" which further supports this Andrew also left his own will which identifies the following individuals: Grandson Thomas Hunter, son of John Hunter of Kirkharle Grandaughter Margaret Hunter, daughter of John Son Andrew Heron 4.
